On January 26, 2009 during the day, one of our residents was walking their small dog, when they were attacked on Coral Sands by a loose Pit Bull. Even though the resident carried pepper spray, he never had a chance to use it. While trying to pick up and hold his dog, the Pit Bull kept attacking. He was trying to save his dog while kicking the Pit Bull. His dog fell from his arms and he kept trying to stop the attack of the Pit Bull. He started walking away, but the Pit Bull attacked again. Be very cautious in this community while walking your pets. Pit Bulls are not suppose to be allowed in this park according to the Rules & Regulations, but people continue to bring them in and no one stops them. You no longer feel safe walking in this park day or night. |

We want to hear from all of you that have registered for an account on our web site. This is your forum. We will be making sure each person that has registered is really a resident. Instructions for Blogging 1. Create an account. Your account with be upgraded to blogging status within a day or so. We have to be careful to avoid spammers on our site. 2. Once approved, you will be able to go to the Resident Blog. Our blog is only seen by verified residents . 3. Then, click Submit an Article from the User Menu. You will see a form that you use to complete your blog. Select the Section called Blog from the pull down menu under the body of your blog. Also, there is a place at the bottom to set a date for the article to start and to set an ending date (optional). Set the Access level to Special. The Save button is at the top on the right hand side. You are done. 4. You will not see your blog article immediately. It will be published within a day by one of the webmasters or HOA President. Although the streets within the California Hawaiian Park are not a part of the main city structure, the traffic rules are designed with the same goal in mind -- to promote the safety of its residents.
The comparative narrowness of the streets within our community, combined with an absence of sidewalks makes it especially important to adhere to traffic regulations. Foot traffic, bicyclists, and motor vehicles must all share the same thoroughfare. Small children and animals are especially hard to see, and tend to share a propensity to suddenly "dart out" in any given direction unexpectedly.
Please, make every effort to help keep our community streets safe by observing and informing guests of the traffic limits. |
